One of our favorite things is to have this graceful home bustling with people celebrating a joyous occasion, reconnecting with old friends, laughing and talking, enjoying a delicious meal and each other’s company. Brides and grooms readying themselves for their special day, girlfriends gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday or a business group enjoying time away where they can clear their minds and be pampered.

Indoor and Outdoor Space

The Kemble Inn was built in 1886. The elegant, classic architecture creates a stunning backdrop for the large windows, beautiful views and bold, modern decor. With flexible seating, our rooms can be transformed into the right setting to suit your special day. Our indoor space may accommodate up to 75 guests for a sit-down dinner and up to 175 for a cocktail party.

The renovated veranda and new bluestone patio overlook our expansive lawn and beautiful view of the Berkshire mountains. In the warmer months, this is the perfect spot for any special occasion. We’ve had many an anniversary, rehearsal dinner, birthday or wedding on our grounds, with outdoor seating, using a tent, for up to175 guests.

Weddings and Rehearsal Dinners

Since June 2010 when the current owners purchased the inn, we have been fortunate to host weddings small and large - from intimate 25 person affairs to outdoor tented celebrations with 175 people.

The decision to become married is no small undertaking - and one of our favorite things here at the Kemble Inn is to help make memorable and unique weddings at this wonderful Berkshire “cottage”. We only agree to a small number of weddings per year so that we can focus on each couple to help make their day special.

Since May 17, 2004, Massachusetts was the first state in the union to legalize gay marriage and we have been happy to host many gay, lesbian, and of course traditional weddings.

“Whole-house” Reunions and Get-Aways

One of the most fun things for our guests is when they rent the whole house so their friends and family can relax, spend precious time together away from everyday cares, and pretend this gorgeous mansion is their own - the only difference is someone else is taking care of cooking, cleaning and making sure everyone’s needs are fully met.
